Ukraine’s National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSSMC) has placed Aura Funded (reportedly based in Dubai) and Alpine Funded (operating from Switzerland) on its official warning list, labeling them as “dubious projects.”

This move is part of a broader crackdown, as the regulator first flagged a prop firm last July and has since expanded its warnings to include other trading service providers. The action follows a growing global trend, with regulators in Belgium, Spain, and Italy also raising concerns about the demo-account funding model widely used in the prop trading industry.

Although the NSSMC did not provide detailed reasons for targeting Aura Funded and Alpine Funded, the warnings suggest that tighter oversight of prop firms may be on the horizon.
